1915 WW1 German Butcher Blade Bayonet 14 1/2" Lg. for Gew 98 Mauser. There is no rust or pits on this 99 year old blade! Manufactured by Simson & Co - Suhl, Germany. Has excellent Wood Grips with no Cracks of Scars.
Scabbard marked WaffenFabrik, Mauser AG, Orerndorf aN. There is one dent on the Scabbard probably caused by other weapons dropped on it at the time the weapon was surrendered and piled with others. There is light frecklingon the exterior finish.
