US Civil War era Colt Pistol.
Owned by soldier from Kentucky with some details known. Engraving is faint but visible in several areas. Metal finish is good with minor surface pitting and overall god condition. Wooden grip has some sighns of wear but not chips or cracks. Trigger mechanism needs some re-working to make fully functional. Asking price recently reduced to allow purchaser to obtain repairs to make fully functional.
