S & W M-38 Bodyguard Airweight: Folklore has it that this S& W 38-Cal. was carried by a former Kansas City, Mo detective which was subsequently sold by his estate at a gun . This is where I acquired it. It has a quick action for a DA Airweght . The frame is a J Frame; w/ a steel cylinder; an alloy frame. Normal holster wear marks and a nice action make this an excellent choice for concealed carry and a drag free pull from your pocket or shoulder holster. About 76% Bluing and the wood is abt 85%.
