This gun dates to the third year of production which began with this model in 1949. This is basically a standard model made in 1951. Bore and action are like new. As to finish, it is at least 98% with just a hint of light muzzle wear on high edge of slide and couple of minor marks on frame. No idiot mark at all. Mint non logo Coltwood war era grips. Original no horse logo clip. Fine example of early post war Light Weight  in scarce and desirable .38 Super.
