Astounding survivor! 1860s lightweight Jones underlever gun, rebarreled and converted from percussion to center fire by Westley Richards. Replacement 30"x2.75" Whitworth Steel bbls, choked .055 L&R (XF and XF) beautifully blacked, no pitting, engraved breeches and rib extension with WR inscription ("Barrels by Westley Richards" and "Whitworth Compressed Steel"). Tight on face. 70% scroll engraved. 14 1/2' lop to original engraved metal buttplate with heel tang. Heavily-figured buttstock. No 1 of a pair. For sale with it's custom FEI fitted case, item 2267.
