Mauser 1896 .30 Mauser caliber pistol. Rare Persian contract with lion, sword and crown. Correct serial range #154826. Bore is very good. Action works perfectly. Gun was sold in England prior to World War II and has an English refinish in polished blue. The fine English finish has flaked and approximately 80% finish remains. Grips are top quality English made and checkered. Note: This is one of the most desirable Mauser pistols.
