Description:
A well made Scottish pistol-all metal except for the wood grips (in excellent condition- and somewhat unusual for a pistol made in Scotland) and the wood ramrod. Lots of engraving on both sides of the lock area, on the hammer, and on the top (tang) from the percussion cap down to the butt of the grip. The lock, hammer, and barrel are blued with lots of color remaining and the balance of metal looks like silver (could be nickel). The action is strong. A few nicks and bangs but in overall very good plus condition. The heavy octagon barrel is 6" long and the overall length is approximately 12". There are no markings or proof marks visible. Antique- no FFL required.
