Offered this excellent condition G43, 8MM Sniper Rifle with excellent condition ZF4 Dow manufactured Scope and a detachable ZF4 Scope Mount The Scope Optics are very clear and has the typical three plex post reticle. The Rifles finish is about 75% and changed from Blued Black to Brown shade from ageing over the last 70 years. The Rifling is strong with no signs of pitting or corosion! The bore is discolored from the use of Military Ammo during the War. The Action has the Eagle Waffenamt Stamp, the G 43 and S/N 2964 J ac 44 Code stamped on it. The Bolt Carrier also has the S/N 2964 stamped on it ! The Stock retains about 95% of its original finish and has two Eagle acceptance stamps, one on the left rear side of the stock with appears to have the number 359 below the Eagle! The second acceptance stamp is on the front face of the Pistol Grip. The front end of the Stock has a Duffel Bag cut or battle damage repair about 4" from the end near the center of the second vent slot of the hand guard! There are no import stamp marks on the weapon! The 10 round magazine is Post War Denmark Manufacture. This is a fine example of a disapearing WWII piece of History. This piece will only appreciate over the Years to collectors!!!
