We have run across a limited quantity of factory Colt Magazines for the AR-15 type rifles. These are 20 rounders, factory Colt and so marked. Manufacturer is Colt Industries of Hartford, CT. Construction is alloy body and floorplate, steel spring, polymer follower. Colt Factory number is SP62103. Each magazine holds 20 rounds of .223 Remington or 5.56 NATO caliber ammunition. All of them show light insertion and ejection scuffing on their upper surfaces, but the followers have no carbon whatsoever on them. These have been inserted, perhaps even loaded; but never fired. They are all in Excellent Condition, and the photos show some of the actual magazines from this lot. All of them we inspected were manufactured in January of 2009, by Colt, in Hartford, and so marked.. These mags with the Pony logo on them, however, are scarce and even collectable.
