Mec Gar magazines are the only magazines as good as, or better than, original factory mags. They lock the slides open like they're supposed to on the last shot; they free-fall eject correctly; and most important, they are always reliable, even with months of staying loaded. Mec Gar magazines are constructed of all steel springs, magazine bodies, and spring plates with high impact polymer followers and polymer or steel buttplates. The buttplates to these genuine Mec Gar 18 round magazines for the Sig P-226 9mm Pistol is high impact polymer. Factory code is MGP22618AFC, rust-resistant phosphate finish.
