Boss and Co., London. Extremely rare matched pair of light weight 28ga. round body game guns, ca. 1981. Weight: 5 Lbs. Stock Dimensions: 15 1/8”x 1 3/8”x 2 1/8”x straight. Superb 27” chopperlump steel barrels with 2 ¾” chambers and mint bores (.550”/.550”) choked .005”/.008”. All dimensions and specifications are identical on both guns. Beautifully color case hardened, contoured, round body actions are nicely game scene engraved, a somewhat unusual feature on Boss guns of any era. Bushed firing pins, ejectors, and Boss single non-selective triggers. Spectacular matching fiddle back walnut butt stocks and splinter forends. Original makers motor case with spare firing pins included in small brass canisters. Ordered from Boss over 30 years ago, this magnificent pair of guns remains in pristine, unfired, original condition with all the original finish remaining throughout. You simply could not ask for a finer pair of 28ga. game guns.
