Erl Svendsen F.A. Co. , Brownsville, Texas "4 Aces" .22 Short sliding breech four shot derringer with rotating firing pin cased in a nice wooden case with two yellowed dice, a small ladies size pocket watch, and an intricate watch fob that appears to be German Silver with a carnival glass "diamond" The watch movement is marked "Swiss" and it is working. Not otherwise marked. Front crystal is clouded. Derringer appears to be in good working condition. Reportedly this pistol belonged to a New Orleans Lady of the Evening who took it from a gambler and used it to permenantly end his proffesional career after he failed to compensate her for her skillfull services. Thereafter, she kept the watch pinned to her garter, the fob draped across her thigh, and the derringer carefully tucked in her lace undergarment, vowing to never be cheated again. I don't know if this story is true but it certainly should be!
