Description:
French Military percussion pistol marked "Mre Rle de / Chatellerault" and "Mle 1837." Buttcap is marked with an interlaced M and B as well as a proof mark and anchor. Proof marks on brass lightly polished, but still quite visible. This pistol has not had the 1849 update of a backstrap and appears to be in all original condition. Lock mechanism is crisp and tight.
