Description:
Spencer .52 Rimfire Carbine manufactured by the Burnside Rifle Co. in Providence, R.I. with a 20" barrel with pitting but intact rifling. Rear sight slide is missing. Stock is solid with old forearm alteration. Overall a good representative example. Produced in 1865 and 1866 with total production less than 40,000. A true relic of the Indian Wars.
