Description:
This is a fine German Sporting rifle made by Wilhelm Brenneke. It is in his 7X64 caliber. Has a 23" barrel. Is fairly light weight at 7#. Has a two yardage rear sight, and double set triggers. Stock is a half stock with a European cheekpiece. Has European (3/4") sling swivels. The gun was at one time fitted with a claw mount scope and still has the bases (3) intact. Has a flat (butter knife) type bolt handle. The floor plate, trigger guard and receiver are lightly engraved. The pistol grip cap and butt plate are black plastic. There is a triangular brass plate in the stock behind the receiver tang. Don't know its purpose or function. The finish on both metal and wood is very good. Gun must ship to an FFL dealer of your choice. Ships three days after funds clear. Pay by bank certified cashiers check or USPS Money Order. Ships in a hard case inside a cardboard outer box. Buyer is responsible for all shipping and handling charges.
