Description:
Serial #299024P, 7.65mm (.32 ACP), 3 3/4” barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This pistol has matching numbers on the frame and slide with the metal retaining 95-97% of a mixed original and factory quality re-applied blue finish that has silvered slightly along the high edges and on the bearing surfaces but left the edges crisp and sharp, including the late war rough milling which is still clearly visible. The original “(eagle)/N” and Waffenamt proofs have been “scrubbed” post-war prior to the refinish but are still partially discernible on the left of the frame (“WaA359”). The checkered black Walther banner grips are in fine shape with some flattening of the points and some minor surface scratches on either panel and a small and unobtrusive import stamp is present on the butt just behind the magazine well opening and a single Walther banner marked flat-based magazine is included. This is a great little post-war used, wartime Walther in fine plus condition that would make a neat addition to a collection. FFL or C&R
