Colt's Single Action Army: Loading and Shooting the Peacemaker by Dave Scovill (Wolfe Publishing)

ISBN: 9781879356887; Shipping $7.25

Colts are as popular today as ever. It has been said that it is difficult to reload and shoot these guns. In this book, Dave Scovill shares his knowledge of how to develop accurate loads for these fine guns and the skills needed to shoot them. From the original first-generation guns to the replicas that have sprung up, these guns all have different chamber and throat dimensions. This can make developing loads difficult. However, if you read this book that is not the case. From his reloading expertise, Dave provides you with the tips you need to help you develop correct loads using the right bullet diameters for different Colts and their replicas.

This book is the definitive source on reloading and shooting the Colt Peacemaker.

AuthorBio:
Dave Scovill's fascination with guns, especially single-action Colts and Winchester lever-action rifles, began while growing up in and around logging camps near Glide, Oregon. After college, Dave entered the U.S. Navy as an officer in 1968. In 1984, he began writing for Wolfe Publishing Company, becoming the editor of Rifle and Handloader magazines in the late 1980s.
I have known Dave for over 20 years and have learned a lot from him. He has probably forgotten more about reloading than I will ever know. His vast knowledge of reloading surpasses many in our industry. This book will impart his knowledge of this subject to you.
