Rare!!! Collectors Welcome!!! Antique Prior WWI Period VISAR 4 1/2 X D.R.G.M. Emil Busch A-G/Nimrod Suhl Rifle Scope! Original Pivot Mounts. Condition collectible,95% original bluing,working mechanics,nice lens,not typical for 100 or more years scope.
Busch scopes were produced in Germany prior to World War I for use on sporting rifles.With the onset of the war, Busch scopes, along with many other previously manufactured sporting rifle scopes, were adapted by the German Army for use on their Scharfschutzen-Gewehr 98 Sniping Rifles. All Busch scopes are scarce in the USA. Reticle look like German #1,but additional hair between horizontal bars. Magnification 4 1/2 X Length 297 mm Main tube diameter 30.00 mm Eye tube diameter 42 mm Objective tube diameter 34.00 mm I add Weaver bases Gewehr 98 that was adapted in machine shop to original mounts.
