#3792, Cachoir Armurier, 106 Boul., Maurice Lemonnier, Bruxelles, Belgium: A Boxlock Extractor in 405 Winchester Made in 1929 with 25 3/4" dovetail lump barrels, Rib extension third bite, Full length rib with 1 standing rear sight, Bushed strikers, Double triggers with the front trigger articulated, Open pistol grip stock, Wrap around checkering, Splinter forend with an Anson release, No sling eyes, Horn grip cap, 14" LOP over a 1" Decelerator pad, Shadowline cheekpiece, Cast-Off for the right hand, 8 lbs., A nice piece of wood, 90% engraving coverage of typical period scroll, Traces of case colors, The barrel blue redone and now at 99%, The stock refinished and now at 97%, The checkering at 99%, Excellent plus bores. This is a very nice double rifle that remains tight as a tick with bores as new. This another neat fun gun in a great American cartridge. Cachoir was an Armour in Brussels and we have record they were founded in 1890, this piece was made in 1929.
