Description:
This shotgun is engraved and gold inlaid and the receiver is signed by Master Engraver F. Ferrante, who also engraved and gold inlaid the 9mm Model 92FS Deluxe Parabellum made especially for the 1995 grand opening of Beretta's New York City Gallery. [google search: Beretta 9mm Production Line Ferrante] Beretta SO-6 EELL has 28", blue-black, choke tube barrels, medium wide, filed, non-tapered vent rib with a small metal front bead. The gray receiver has, F. Ferrante, full coverage vine engraving with, engraved, oval bordered, two inlaid and raised gold and Bulino engraved Pintails on the left side, two inlaid and raised gold and Bulino engrave Mallards on the right side, and one inlaid and raised gold and Bulino engraved rooster Pheasant in flight on the underside, all within outdoor scenes. The trigger guard, receiver top, and lower and upper tangs are graciously engraved and it has a finely checkered, barrel selecting safety. The top lever is pierced, lavishly engraved and has an inlaid and raised gold crown. This SO-6 has a checkered gold trigger and ejectors, with the word "Sporting" in gold lettering on the trigger guard. The richly colored, rubbed oil finish, dense grain, walnut stock has a checkered pistol grip and two recoil pads. The matching fore end has wrap-around checkering, finger grooves, and gray engraved hardware. This is a wonderful example of Beretta's fine workmanship and quality.
