One of the rarest and hardest to find of all Colt's is an example of a Pre 1960 1911 in Factory Nickel finish. In fact, they are rarer than a pre 1960 Nickel in .38 Super. This one is almost new condition,. No idiot mark. 100% bright factory nickel finish. Mint inside and out. Colt letter states shipped on Sept,. 17, 1959 to Pasadena California. Grips are not listed but gun sports and original aged silver medallion Ivory grips that have been on the gun a long time given the aging on outside of grips. Original period Colt nickel marked magazine. Absolutely stunning gun, impossible to find and even more so in this condition. C&R is fine
