Here is a super condition early pre model S prefix Smith & Wesson Model 27 that was made in 1953-54. It features a 6.5" barrel with small Target diamond grips. 5-screw. Mint bore and action. High luster blue shows just a hint of wear in the form of a light cylinder line. All the brilliant colors. Stunning early model. The number 95346 is on butt, shooter end of cylinder and very small in ejector shroud. A letter B is stamped on grip frame. Grips are not numbered either in pencil or stamped. Finish is all original, never touched or re-done. Crane is stamped X9621 on both sides. (assembly number)
