Enfield MKII .476 caliber revolver. Dated 1882. These revolvers are very well made and of unusual design that makes them popular with collectors. This particular revolver is marked “Gaols” on the reat tang. This is old English spelling for “Jails” and this gun was used in a Australian penal colony. Gun is very well marked. Action is perfect and bore is excellent. Gun has 97-98% blue. Grips are very good with minor nicks and dings. This is an excellent example of a hard to find English revolver.
