This is a fine and quite rare example of the Police Contract carbine made by FN for the Government of Morrocco. According to the research office of the NRA, it was probably made between 1960 and 1964. The caliber is 7.62 NATO and it has been fired very, very little. The barrel is threaded to accept the grenade launcher which is prominent at the muzzle. The action, bore, and furniture are all in outstanding condition as you can see in the pictures. It is hard to imagine that any of these which saw field use in Morrocco could be in this condition. I have only ever met one person who claimed they had one and it was lacking the GL. I am more than happy to answer any reasonable questions. However, all that you see here is pretty much what I know about it. I would hope that this join a serious Mauser collection.
