this gun is marked MANTON on the side plates. from the history i have done, points to the maker joseph manton.the proof marks are all from the birmingham proof co. there are also 2 'm' stamped along with the proof marks on the bottom of the barrel. this is a 16 gauge double barrel 30 inches long. i fired this gun about 35 years ago.
