Description:
In the 1920's, the Haenel target .22's won three world championships. While they made fine guns in Germany since the 1840's, it is the target .22's that are the most sought after of all. This example is in amazing condition. It features a tapered 28" octagon barrel that is matted on the entire top surface. It sports a bead on ramp front sight, no rear sight cut out and a fine tang sight. The wood is finely checkered and is excellent shape with no cracks. The receiver retains at least 80% lusterous factory blue while the barrel retains at least 99%. Bore is excellent and action locks up like new. Truly a German master piece from the 1920-30's.
