Description:
Serial #86, .30 caliber, 2? part round/part octagon barrel with a fine bore that has light freckling within the grooves. This is a handsome little pistol, probably made by Allen, that has an overall dark plum-brown patina with some silvering around the loose floral engraving on the frame and traces now black original plated finish here and there. The walnut grips are in fine shape with very little wear or handling marks evident and the original varnish (which has crazed over time) is lightly flaked along the high points.
