For Sale this fine 97 year old WWI 1903 Springfield Mark I designed to accept the Petterson Device to be used for Trench War Fare. WWI ended before they could put into service. The barrel was installed at the Springfield Armory 10 - 19. The Barrel gages 1,5 at the Muzzel and the chamber head space gaged "Go" & "No Go" Excellent. The Heel of the Stock has a Arson repair. The metal finish is 99% original and the Stock has original Oil finish with minor handling marks..
