Blaser S2 Safari Double Barrel Rifle 470 Nitro Express African Big Five - 1 OF 10! 

The Blaser S2 Safari .470 NE is a big, heavy, but well balanced, double barrel rifle, meant for big game such as elephants. It is only 1 of 10 made in the world. It is a heavy gun, but the weight helps reduce recoil and also provides a very stable shooting platform if shooting offhand. The double triggers are very crisp and gold in color. The S2 Safari fits normal Blaser scope mount. The open sights on the S2 Safari are excellent. It comes with a 2.5 cm rubber recoil pad and kickstop, which reduces recoil considerably. It has free floating barrels, tilting block lock, maunual cocking system, and a “black velvet” finish on the barrel. It does not have any ejector, but this does not down grade the rifle.

The side plates are beautifully engraved with the African big five animals: Cape buffalo and lion on the right, and elephant and rhinoceros on the left. All surrounded with fine arabesque background engraving. The right side plate is signed by the master engraver Muckenheim. On the bottom of the receiver, is the head or a leopard, also beautifully surrounded by arabesque engravings. The receiver, trigger guard, and base of the barrel are fully engraved too. The pistol grip cap is engraved with the African continent and “1 of 10” in gold, all surrounded in fine arabesque engraving. The wood is a fine grade 8 walnut root wood. There is fine checkering on the forend and butt stock. The stock has a Monte Carlo cheek piece and a Safari buttstock.
