Description:

Beretta 28 Gauge Side by Side snC23228- EARLY MODEL 410E, HIGH GRADE

Please keep in mind that we employ a full time gunsmith on premises and can perform alterations to suit your needs within a few weeks of purchase.

In the world of fine shotguns, Beretta is a well known entity.  From utilitarian guns to some of the finest "BEST GUNS" ever produced on the planet, you can find what you are looking for in the Beretta line up.  This is an early Model 410E (ejectors), a fine double shotgun from the mid 1900's with a double scalloped back action, greener cross bolt, fully jeweled action and forend iron, and fine factory original condition.  The early Model 410 differs from the later models, with finer and more profuse checkering, more elaborate hand engraving, and much nicer wood in general.  Barrels are proof stamped in 1957, the alloy receiver is hand engraved with fine rose and scroll engraving, and weighing just 5lbs. 9oz. it is balanced between the hands just so.  Features like ejectors, single trigger, beavertail forend, hand checkered at 24 lines per inch make this a much higher end gun than any of the Model 410 guns I could see on the internet.  If you like small bores and rare guns nicely decorated, this is your gun!  Little 28ga. doubles are always in high demand, so you will be able to take this gun to the club or afield and enjoy its use while it increases in value.  Quite a more enjoyable investment than paper stocks!
