Description:
Gustloff-Werke Guild Gun 12 Ga. This lovely old Suhl Over & Under gun is made in the style now recognized as a Merkel, but more correctly is a Suhl Guild Gun. It has the classic 3 piece fore end, the scalloped action, the protruding cocking indicators, solid rib, Kirsten double locking lug crossbolt lockup, bolstered action, horn trigger guard, and deep Germanic style engraving. The bores are bright and smooth and the action is tight. The exterior shows very little wear. The stock has been extended with spacers to a LOP of 14 7/8". This gun appears to be from the 1950s.
