Description:

SUBJECT TO PRIOR SALE.

A transitional piece not often seen. Marked with the usual New Haven address and "45-GOV" on the front side and the standard patent date of '84 on the other.

Tool retains about 60% original bright nickel finish, with rust spots as shown. The neck resizer is of the large size (310 dies too small) and is unmarked, except for a .  Catalogue sheet in pic No. 6 is for reference only and not included.

The extractor hook on the nose needs to be relieved on the back side as tool will not close completely. Inserting a knife blade allows it to close. A little deft work with a Dremel will solve that problem.

The lower handle is cut for decapping Berdan primed cases, but there is no provision for the pointed screw to decap. This was standard as the pragmatic Ideal folks used up the earlier handles on many different models.

This model is from the "Big Bertha" series, measuring 10" OA and weighing in at two pounds.

M.O. or check, but check must clear. I can ship in a padded Priority envelope at $5.25 or $11 Medium Flat Rate Priority, both with tracking - your choice. Insurance is optional, but if declined, shipment is at buyer's risk.
