Description:

This is an absolutely gorgeous 687EELL Classic 20/28 gauge two barrel set with a Prince of Wales round knob pistol grip stock with matching fore-ends for each set of 28” barrels. I have only had this gun a little over a year and I have shot 2 boxes through the 28g and less than one box through the 20g (killed a few pigeons). I also purchased 3 additional Rhino chokes in addition to the included Beretta chokes. I am selling this set because it is just too nice to do with it what I had planned (training upland gun dogs) so it sits in the included Beretta hard case safely stored. As much as I love it I am not inclined to keep it if I’m not going to use it. The gun has a bit of right-hand cast, but the stock can be bent to neutral or even a little left-hand cast by an approved Beretta dealer. The stock had a removable wood butt-plate that I had removed with a tiny bit of wood (less than 0.25”) with a ½ inch rubber pad put in its place for a LOP of 13 7/8” (easily lengthened replacing with a standard 1.00” pad). Beretta includes a soft rubber plate which has not been used, it is included. The stock has a 1 3/8” drop at comb and 2 3/8” drop at heel which is fairly standard for a Beretta field gun. The gun does have an automatic safety; which has been disabled by the factory but can be restored by any authorized dealer, it can be made to function automatically or manual. Beretta has several grades of what are essentially the same gun that while similar, are not “exactly” the same. This is a “Classic” combo, which has nicer engraving, higher grade wood, better & deeper blued barrels and long tangs.
