Description:
A nice little percussion pistol with A "POP OUT" trigger. Approx. .45 caliber with a Damascus steel pattern octagon 3" barrel. The overall length is 7 & 1/2 ". The lock, trigger area, top strap, hammer and silver plated butt cap are engraved. The action is strong and there are very few marks in the metal parts. The grip has some nicks but no cracks or splits and retains most of the varnish finish. The butt cap opens for storage. The Liege Belgian "ELG" in a circle - proof mark is present on the left side of the lock area. On the underside of the barrel just forward of the trigger is the number "125" and the letters "JP". As the pictures indicate, this pistol is in excellent condition and shows very little use. Antique- no FFL required.
