the action is crisp holds half cock and full cock timing is correct you can hear all clicks. the finish displays 70% thinning blue on barrel the 7 1/2 inch octagon barrel edges are sharp and is just starting to silver. the back strap and trigger guard shows 90% original silver plate. All marking sharp and clear on this Hartford made revolver so reflects in the Hartford stamped barrel address. All # match including wedge and cylinder. the cylinder scene shows about 90% including the battle of 1843 stamp is vivid.......There are case colors vivid and colorful on the hammer and load lever. and is fading on the receiver........Shining a bore light through the rear nipple shows a lovely original bore is bright and shiny with sharp rifeling.........it looks good in there......the grips show about 90% original varnish no chips or crack does show some surface scratches from light use and handling I honestly feel this has not been fired much its a lovely piece all over......the pictures I took do not do this piece justice. This come with some acutraments and is cased in a mahogany wood box of period there is a brass plate engraved on top of box circa this piece is 1860 bearing serial # 97,xxx want extra pictures e-mail me I ship to the world I accept international bank wire transfer
