Description:
This box of maxums is date coded "IBEU" indicating Sept 25 1941 loading. This box shows CIL "Bent D" logo used from 1932 to 1950. Box shows soiling and shelf wear with several areas of rim damage on corners and penciled "EW". Box is full of shells with fading red paper tubes with "Dominion Maxum lLong Range" on side, "Long range 5 Smokeless" on green top wad and high base brass head with "Dominion made in No 12 Canada Maxum" headstamps. Shells show shiny duco finish with light staining on heads. An unusual war time box of shells.
