Description:
This full one piece box has a red "Seconds" label across lid. Inside lid is date code "FFK" indicating June 6, 1972 loading date. Box contains orange paper tubes with rose crimp marked "4 Maxum" on side in yellow (hard to see) with "Maxum 12 12 Canada" headstamp. label shows 2 3/4 inch 3 dram 1 1/8oz No 8 loads and calls for plastic shells. This may be the reason for seconds label. Box shows light wear with scuffing on bottom and a crease on left side. This series was made for the holiday stores chain and was quite popular . This shows a child warning on front with a great picture of two guys shooting clay birds.
