Beautiful Merkel 2001 EL 28 gauge with 28” barrels engraved by Silke Henke. Nicely figured walnut stock with pistol grip and field forearm. It has a single selective trigger and selective ejectors. *** This trim little Merkel O/U is chambered for 2-3/4” cartridges and choked Improved Cylinder and Modified. Game scene engraved on both sides of frame and signed by the engraver. *** Stocked in a nicely figured piece of walnut with Prince of Wales style pistol grip. Stock dimensions are 14-1/4” over a thin plastic butt plate by 1-3/8” by 2-1/8”. Cast off for the right hand shooter. *** Easy to carry at 6lb 11oz. Comes with its original box and a factory Merkel leatherette case. *** This gun is in excellent condition overall having only been test fired by it original owner. I give a 3-day non-firing inspection and will only accept returns at buyer’s expense if the gun is not as described.
