Description:
Beautiful Merkel sidelock over/under in 16 gauge with fabulous wood. This gun was made in the late 60's and custom game scene engraving by Karola Knoth. A rare feature on this Merkel are the hand detachable sidelocks. *** This shotgun has a single selective trigger. The barrels are 28" in length and choked Improved Cylinder and Modified. Metal condition is in excellent condition. Overall weight is 6lb 12oz. *** Stocked in a piece of exhibition grade walnut it has a semi-pistol grip stock with field forearm. Wood is in excellent condition with sharp checkering. Dimensions are 14-3/8" over a thin plastic butt plate by 1-3/8" by 2-3/8" with neutral cast. Comes with original box and leather factory case. *** I give a 3-day non-firing inspection and will only accept returns at buyer’s expense if the gun is not as described.
