Description:
This bayonet is marked US on blade top and is otherwise unmarked. Blade shows 40% high luster blue, mostly towards shank with finish loss and light pitting towards point. Socket has browned and has minor impact marks on top. The scabbard features a brass belt hook with "US" medallion on leather frog. Leather shows scuffs and remains soft with just a little surface cracking. Scabbard body shows 70% blue with wear and light oxidation stains.
