Description:
This is the first blued 4th model I have ever seen. It is a stardard 4th model in all respects with 5" barrel, Smith & Wesson style full fluted top rib, double action, folding trigger, black rubber saw handle grips and caliber. Action likes up like new and still has suction. Bore is mint. Case colors still on trigger guard. Overall, the gun retains about 40-50% of the bright blue with rest a nice clean patina. A really sharp and very hard to find blued Merwin. These were made in the mid-late 1880's. SALE HOLD
