Springfield 1884 Chaffee-Reese scarce U.S. Martial long gun with only 753 of these manufactured. Interesting bolt action system fed by a magazine in the butt stock. The chain magazine is present. Very good blue on barrel and frame. Wood is very good with just light handling marks and a very sharp cartouche. A very scarce gun in very fine condition!
