Production of this model started in 1931 and it is still in production...and it's easy to see why.
The serial number indicates manufacture in 1961.
There are no signs of wear on wood or metal parts, bt there is a small crack in the right side of the forestock that is visible in a photograph.
The recoilpad has an interesting reducer that I can't find pictured anywehere, but look like it was by Browning.
The bores are excellent.
