Colt Super 38 numbers matching Pre War / Post War pistol. The gun is 100 % original with matching slide & base. Gun was made prior to the war and shipped after the war. Serial numbers range from 36020 - 37730. This is one of the hardest variations of the Super 38 model to find. Approximately 1710 were made, 500 of which were shipped out of the states. This gun is milled for the Swartz safety, that is not found in post war models. The lanyard loop, the trigger, hammer , grooved main spring, grooved slide stop, and pre war roll markings, are all correct for this piece, as they are pre war parts.
