A pair of fully refurbished left hand opening 12g boxlock ejectors by Thomas Johnson & Son of Swaffham, Norfolk. Top levers open to the left but the stocks are cast off and the triggers are set for a right hander. It is believed to be the way Thomas Johnson & Son built a lot of his guns. The No. 1 gun features original barrels choked improved cylinder and 1/4 and 2 1/2" chambers. The No. 2 gun features sleeved barrels and are choked 5/8 & 3/4 and 2 3/4" chambers. Both sets of barrels measure well. The stocks are unmarked and feature leather covered recoil pads. The actions are tastefully engraved and retain some original case colour hardening. This pair of guns are in very good condition and are ready to use. They offer great versatility with the different choking, the No. 1 gun being used for early season birds and the No. 2 for the higher, stronger, later season birds.
