EARLY SMITH & WESSON NO. 1 ½ FIRST ISSUE REVOLVER. .32 rim fire with ½” barrel. Serial number in the 4,xxx range circa 1865-first year of production. Fine and all original and matching. 95% blue on the frame and cylinder. 40% blue on the barrel which has turned a dark plum finish from oxidation-often seen on this model. Near mint rosewood grips. Excellent bore and working order. Very fine to excellent overall.
