REMINGTON MODEL 1148 16GA. 30" SEMIAUTO SHOTGUN, CIRCA 1962. Predecessor to the famous 1100, the 1148 utilizes the Model 11 long recoil system where the barrel recoils back into the receiver. Total manufacture of nearly 500,000 the 1148 was quite popular in that is was one of the first affordable semi-autos. This particular 11-48 has been refinished so well its hard to tell. Original "Remington" buttplate with just small toe chip. It will make a nice shooter should anyone be looking for a 16ga. to shoot doves with.
