#11973, Beretta Sidelock Ejector Model S2 Made in 1953 with 28 3/8" Solid Rib Acciaio Speciale Steel Barrels at .722 .031 & .035" (Full & Full), 2 3/4" chambers, Factory marked Full & Full, KG 1.490 weight barrels, Original correct bores at 18.3MM = .721 and original correct chokes, Double triggers, Game forearm with finger grooves, Straight hand stock at 14 1/4 x 1 3/8 x 2 1/4" over a factory checkered buttplate with their logo, It will go 14 15/16" LOP with a 1" pad without altering the butt for a return of the original buttplate, Neutral stock for the right or left hand, Sling eyes, 7 lbs. 6 oz., 65% coverage of nice floral and scroll engraving; The gun has 9 retainer screws on key screws, plus the replaceable locking shoulders on the barrel, The retainer screws secure key screws on the frame, forend and trigger guard. The gun retains excellent plus bores and the barrels inside & out look like they did 61 years ago. The factory blue is 95%, the original stock finish at 86%, the checkering at 95% and it remains smack on the face and is tight as new. This piece was well kept and hasn't been shot a great deal and it hung around city lights more than time spent in the country. This is a 1953 Sidelock quality piece at a good value that has nearly all of its mechanical life left in it.
