Description:
A two piece box of 44 calibre solid head metallic cartridges for the Remington Creedmoor rifle. A rarely seen box, marked, E. Remington & Sons, Ilion, N. Y. These "special .44 Calibre" cartridges were for their long range rifle and "back in the day" had the "Military" portion of the label drawn through in ink. One end has, "44 Creedmoor" written in pencil. A great vintage example. The box is empty.
