Description:
This full 25 round box is coded EB1F4 RP indicating May 29, 1948 loading . Box shows light soiling and wear with rim damage in corners. This box features the double oval logo that was used for only one year starting in 1950 according to most references. the code clearly indicates that this is not true. Shells have high bases with warning on side and yellow top wad marked "Special 2 Long Range Smokeless". Base shows "Dominion Made in No 12 Canada Imperial" headstamp. Box has lots of warnings, cautions and advertising copy. A very interesting and seldom seen Canadian shotshell box.
